How to burn your
project to CD, DVD or Blu-ray
Note: This section only
applies to optical output types, e.g. DVD-Video (for DVD burning) ,
Blu-ray (for Blu-ray burning) and SVCD,VCD (for CD
burning)
Once
you have created your masterpiece in the editor and wish to burn
your slideshow to a disk, select the ‘Create and
Burn
to disk’ icon located at the
top of the main editor window. This will then bring up the
'Author video
wizard'
window.

'Create and burn my
slideshow' (default option).
This option will create your slideshow into the appropriate
DVD-Video, Blu-ray or CD ISO image on your hard-drive and then burn
this image to a blank optical disk.
The DVD-Video,
Blu-ray or CD ISO image will be created in
Documents/PhotoVidShow/Authored. PhotoVidShow will leave this disk
image on the hard-drive after burning in-case you wish to burn it
again at a later time. DVD, Blu-ray or CD images can not be edited
further in the PhtotoVidShow editor, only re-burnt. It is possible,
however, to re-load your project file into the PhotoVidShow editor,
do edits and then create another image.

'Create my slideshow to test or
burn later'.
This is the same as the above option except it skips the burn part.
This option can be useful if you wish to test your DVD-Video,
Blu-ray or CD image before burning it. Applications like VLC media
player and PowerDVD are able to playback DVD and Blu-ray images
(video folder) stored on your PC hard-drive.

'Burn a previously created
slideshow'. This option allows
you to burn a previously created slideshow. This is done by using
the DVD-Video and Blu-ray burner tool. This
then

'Burn from a video
folder'.
This option is similar to the above except it burns it directly in
the PhotoVidShow editor. Also the option can be useful because it
can burn any DVD-Video, Blu-ray or CD ISO image. e.g. If
you used another application to rip a DVD onto your hard-drive, you
could use PhotoVidShow to then re-burn it.
Note: If
burning from a video folder from the hard-drive, PhotoVidShow will
require the folder which contains the VIDEO_TS folder for a
DVD-Video, the folder which contains the BDMV folder for Blu-ray or
the folder which contains the BIN/CUE files for a SVCD/VCD
video.
